Awhile back, I shared how to make a drawstring bag. I didn’t tell you that I used it for packaging up a sibling gift for a baby shower I went to. It seems as if everyone I know is having more babies, and I was looking for a cute and easy gift for This weekend a friend and I hosted a Pinterest-inspired party. The idea was to get together and make some crafts we’d been pinning and eat some goodies from our boards, too. I will apologize in advance. I know that one of the number one no-nos is having terrible photos on your blog. Well, My partner told me that her favorite colors were purple and teal. I decided to do a little project based on those colors. And so I created this fun headband. The flower is created from felt circles that I hotglued to a felt base. Then I attached the base to the elastic. I don’t know about where you live, but sickness is going around here like crazy. So many people have had stomach flus, colds, and even pneumonia. Poor Erik has caught just about everything there is to catch this year. I’ve managed to miss out on it all so far. I’m so grateful to not have Pin ItWith my winter mantel, I made this fun and simple snowflake garland. I used materials that I already had on hand, including a length of tulle that had been wrapped around a baby shower present. It was the perfect length. I attached these paper snowflakes using tape.
