Olliblocks Review

Olliblocks

Awhile back, I shared how to make a drawstring bag. I didn’t tell you that I used it for packaging up a sibling gift for a baby shower I went to. It seems as if everyone I know is having more babies, and I was looking for a cute and easy gift for the older siblings.

Then I stumbled across these cute Olliblocks. They’re printables that you cute out and attach to wooden blocks. Or make them into magnets. Or any number of other fun and creative projects.

They recommend you have them professionally printed onto adhesive paper. I didn’t have a way to get them professionally printed, nor did I have some adhesive paper. I simply printed them out at home on cardstock and used matte Mod Podge to finish them. Yes, they did smear a bit, but not too bad for gift-giving.

Erik cut the wooden blocks for me, but they’re easily found at craft stores or online.

I think these are a ton of fun, and I’ll be able to make a set for each baby shower I attend this year. And I’ll make some for Olive too, although it will be a bit before she can really play with them.

What’s your usual sibling gift at a baby shower?
